The Past Year at Feather & Fern

The past year has been one of the biggest and most challenging years of my life.

At Feather & Fern, I have spent countless hours clearing land, improving campsites, caring for animals, planting gardens, and creating a peaceful space where people can enjoy nature and the simple pleasures of country life.

There have been many ups and downs along the way. Like many dreams, building Feather & Fern has required hard work, determination, and a belief that something beautiful can grow from difficult times.

Over the past year I have added camping areas, improved access around the property, worked on accommodation options, and continued caring for the wonderful animals that call Feather & Fern home. The property is constantly evolving, with new projects always underway.

One of my favourite parts of life here is sharing the experience with my rescue birds, ducks, chickens, cat, and the many native birds and wildlife that visit daily. Their personalities bring joy and laughter every day.

As I look back on the past year, I feel proud of how far Feather & Fern has come. There is still much to do, but every small improvement brings me closer to creating the peaceful country retreat I have envisioned.
